How It Works
Consignment Without the Hassle.
Tell Us What You Have
Contact BEL and send photos, basic information and any details you know about the item. For larger collections or multiple items, we may arrange a time to evaluate them.
We Evaluate the Item
We consider condition, quality, current market demand, comparable sales and whether the item is a good fit for our buyer audience. Not every item will be accepted for consignment. We want to focus our time and marketing on pieces we believe have a reasonable opportunity to sell.
We Research & Price It
BEL researches the item and determines an appropriate asking price based on the current resale market. Pricing is designed to balance value with what buyers are realistically willing to pay.
We Photograph & Market It
We create photos and listings designed to make the item stand out. Depending on the piece, BEL may promote it through Facebook Marketplace, BEL social media, estate sale platforms, our local buyer and reseller network and other appropriate sales channels.
We Handle the Buyers
BEL handles inquiries, questions, buyer communication and negotiation. You don't have to spend your day answering "Is this still available?"
The Item Sells & You Get Paid
When the item sells, BEL handles the transaction and you receive your portion of the sale proceeds according to your consignment agreement.

What Makes a Good Consignment Item?
What We Look For
Items are generally more likely to be accepted when they are:
- Clean and in good condition
- Functional and complete
- Desirable in the current resale market
- Worth enough to justify the time involved in researching, photographing and selling them
- Furniture that is structurally sound
- Specialty, vintage, collectible or unusual
Condition matters.
Items with significant damage, heavy wear, odors, missing components or very limited resale demand may not be a good fit for consignment.
